14:25 Haydock – Harry Angel (BEST ODDS 5/2 with bet365)
I can’t look beyond Harry Angel for this one. He’ll be favourite for it and rightly so. He’s a dual course and distance winner, who has three wins and three second place finishes to his name so far in his career. He’s also got a great jockey in Adam Kirby on board, who has been the only jockey to have ridden him professionally thus far. The July Cup winner looks the pick on the form by a long way. He beat many horses in this field in that race and still had over a length spare when doing so. He has won on good to soft ground before, and hopefully there won’t be too much rain between now and the race off time. He’s such a superstar that he may be able to do the business, even on soft ground rather than good to soft. I can’t not back him at this price considering his recent form, and especially his supremely impressive win last time out.
