14:30 Ascot – True Blue Moon (BEST ODDS 12/1 with Paddy Power)
True Blue Moon was a very good winner at Naas last time out and is unbeaten in two. He is also a distance winner and the faster ground could suit so I think this is a decent each-way pick.
15:05 Ascot – Irishcorrespondent (BEST ODDS 6/1 with Paddy Power)
This horse was behind Churchill and Thunder Snow in the Irish 2000 Guineas last time out, which is very good form. He had two wins before that and pedigree suggests that this trip will suit.
15:40 Ascot – Naughty Or Nice (BEST ODDS 8/1 with Paddy Power)
Naughty Or Nice is unbeaten in two Irish starts. Blinkers are fitted, which should help and the Listed win last time out is good form as the runner up went on to win again. She’s back against her own sex here.
16:20 Ascot – Simple Verse (BEST ODDS 8/1 with Paddy Power)
I’m willing to take on the favourite here, who is hit or miss and I can’t be backing him at such a short price. I’d rather take a punt on Simple Verse at a big price. Her trainer is convinced she will stay and she was 2nd by a neck in a Group 2 last time; she’s also a going winner.
17:00 Ascot – Tricorn (BEST ODDS 18/1 with Betfair)
This horse is a distance winner and looks at a big price for a great yard. In his career so far, he’s notched up three wins and two second places. This galloping track could be a massive help.
17:35 Ascot – Homesman (BEST ODDS 14/1 with bet365)
Homesman won a Group 3 most recently and should relish this step up in trip. There’s a top jockey booking in Ryan Moore on board and the blinkers should help this horse once again.
