Vieux Lion Rouge (10/1 with bet365)
I would suggest going with bet365 for all your Grand National bets. If you bet each-way (and I suggest you do) you’ll get half your stake back and they pay five places. Vieux Lion Rouge has won at Aintree before and has won on his last two outings. Before that, he was 7th in this race last year at 66/1. He’s really hit form since then and should go close.
£10 each-way returns £145 for a win and £35 for a place with bet365.
Blaklion (14/1 with bet365)
This race has been the target all season long for Blaklion. He hasn’t won since Cheltenham last year but may just peak at the right time for this race.
£10 each-way returns £195 for a win and £45 for a place with bet365.
Pleasant Company (16/1 with bet365)
Any horse with the Mullins/Walsh trainer and jockey combination is one that should be feared. Won well in a Group 3 in Ireland last time out and is only up a pound for that.
£10 each-way returns £50 for a win and £220 for a place with bet365.
Lord Windermere (50/1 with bet365)
This is the outsider that I fancy the most. The jockey on board has won this race twice. The last time this horse was on a mark like this, he was winning the RSA Chase at Cheltenham. He looks way too big a price for my liking so I had to bet on him.
£10 each-way returns £645 for a win and £135 for a place with bet365.
