With just 23 days to go until the start of the new Premier League season, this week see’s the majority of teams in pre-season action, amongst some of the giants from across Europe. We can not wait for the season to start, this break seems to take so long!

In the early hours of Friday morning (02:30 UK time), we see the first ever overseas Manchester Derby, as United take on City in Houston, Texas. United have fared well in preseason so far, with 2 wins from 2 across the pond. The first of which saw them demolish LA Galaxy 5-2, followed by a narrow 2-1 victory over Real Salt Lake. The latter included a maiden goal for marquee signing Romelu Lukaku on his first start for the Red Devils. City on the other hand are yet to take to the field this pre-season and having only flown to the US on Sunday, may well suffer from a lack of match fitness in this less than friendly derby fixture.

Elsewhere in Europe, big spenders AC Milan take on Bayern Munich, who themselves look to have once again been shrewd in the transfer market, by securing the 2 year loan signing of Real Madrid’s James Rodriquez. James was touted around a number of major clubs this summer, with a price of £65-£70m being quoted and therefore a 2 year loan deal seems great business for the German title holders. Milan have somewhat taken the transfer market by storm this year, securing a number of high profile signings, none more so than Italian centre back Leonardo Bonucci. It looked as though Chelsea or Man City were the 2 team competing for Bonucci’s signature, however Milan came from absolutely nowhere, to take their summer spending over the £200m mark.

Additionally, we’ll also be streaming a replay of last season’s Champions League ¼ final and the 2014/15 final, as Barcelona take on Juventus at the MetLife Staduim in New Jersey, Real Madrid v Manchester United and Chelsea vs Bayern Munich.
