**Unfortunately we can no longer recommend the Sky Bet app. We have had lots of feedback from customers about poor mistreatment from Sky Bet so we no longer want to recommend the app to our visitors. You should try out our number 1 rated android app from bet365 instead**

Placing bets on the app
Sky Bet make betting a piece of cake, they have one of the easiest and quickest ways to get your bet on. You can’t actually bet until you have a Sky account (not a TV one) so join today and deposit some cash if you don’t have one yet, only now you can get stuck in. Football takes precedent on the app and is heavily accessible no matter where you are. On the home screen, you can see all the in-play games and a quick link in the top menu bar. If you want to wager some money on a game, click the football icon and you will find a long list of available games. If you can’t see what you want there scroll right to the competitions tab and find your comp, league and game. Sky Bet’s price boosts are highlighted here as well (see below for info). Once you find your game, odds are shown for win draw or win, if you need more markets click the game name and you get all the available betting options. Full time result, correct score, handicap markets, BTTS etc are all available. When you select your options, they are added to a bet skip that comes down from the top of your device. If you click on it, this is where you enter your stake and place your bet. A multiple option (for accas, doubles etc) will appear if you add qualifying bets and again, just set your steak and the app works out your returns. As soon as you submit your picks, they are view able in your account and also in the My Bets tracker in the menu on the left. See it’s easy to do!
Our verdict on the Android app from Sky Bet: An uber cool football betting app
Sky Bet have a great name, especially when it comes to football. They were one of the first bookmakers to have a mobile app and just make it better and better with each update they do. I know me and all of my betting buddies all use Sky Bet for the reliability, speed and best prices.
Main features on the app
- Quick pin log in
- Safe & secure
- Fast & reliable
- Sky Bet Tracker
- Price boost markets
- Account history
- Fast bet on broadcast games
To give you a visual idea of what you can expect on the app, I have put some screen shots just below taken on a Galaxy S7 edge mobile. These show you the main homepage for the app and a live in play football match with one of the visual viewing options.
Sky Bet are a well renowned company that have been around for a long time. As you would expect from a large company like Sky, they have a great betting app. Design wise, it looks very similar to Sky’s other apps such as news and sport (they are free to download as well and definitely worth using for the latest sports news). To find your way around the app, Sky Bet uses a simple navigation system made up of a few menus. There is a main menu located in the left of the app. This is where to head to get the full sports list, Bet & watch information (live streaming), customer support and quick access to ‘My Bets’ – This unique feature is where you can check the position of all your bets in one click. No more clicking on each bet. Check match stats and if you feel you have a better chance of wining money now, cash out to end your bet early for lower odds. Head back to the home screen and you can see all the featured sports that Sky Bet do their price boost on, just look for the symbol next to the event to see the price increase. Just like us, Sky Bet love a good accumulator and you can jump straight on them on the home screen. They list all the big games across loads of sports making it easy for you to get you acca on. There are loads to choose from including all popular full time results, BTTS, under and over markets and loads more.
The app really does looks great and is extremely easy to get your head around. After two or three minutes playing around with it you should be all set up and ready to place your bets. It uses Sky’s significant blue and red branding. The app looks very slick and modern and has a really nice feel and design to it. It really is a great little app which loads first time has everything that you need to bet. I have been using Sky Bet on my Galaxy for a long time now and hardly a day goes by that I don’t use it which says a lot about how good it is!
As you would expect from Sky Bet, their Android app supports a big range of sports including football, rugby, golf, tennis, cycling, F1, darts and loads more. Sky excels in football betting and this is the market they cater towards the most. The app has a great selection of markets and has a vast variety of different bets in each market. It allows you to bet on all the main football leagues as well as a few smaller ones. Just because they are great in football it does not mean they are lacking everywhere else. Sky has a great selection of other sports to bet on and it is still a decent app for any sport. Sky offers their customers weekly promotions such as enhanced odds on a select number of teams. The app also supports Sky Bets excellent ‘Cash Out’ boost feature which gives you the chance to win cash bonuses on top of your Cash Out value, every time you cash out. Cash Out Boost is available at any time, providing they you have an open bet that is eligible for Cash Out. It can be used on Football, horse racing and tennis events at the minute.
Sky have the Sky Bet Club where if punters sign up they will receive a free £5 bet every Monday if they have wagered £25 worth of bets the week previous. It all adds up! Join today at www.skybet.com to take part. Add this to the new Requestabet feature and you have an amazing betting tool at your disposal. For those of you who don’t know, Requestabet let’s you pick your own bet if it’s not listed. Got a golden idea for a bet or can’t find odds for a selection on the app or website? Tweet to @skybet and use #RequestABet with the details of the bet or go via the “Create A RequestABet” button on the mobile app by selecting the outcomes you wish to include, and Sky Bet will try and get your bet available.
You are able to deposit and withdraw to Sky Bet on the app via credit and debit card as well as having PayPal as another option. Overall, I would say the Android app from Sky Bet is one of the best betting apps available, performance has been vastly improved since the last update.
If you’re a football fan, Sky Bet’s Android app should be one of the first apps you use. They have the best market selection and some quality price boosts for all big games.
Unfortunately not……….Google won’t permit any form of gambling app or betting in the app store so just get it direct. You can easily download the APK directly from the Sky Bet website at www.skybet.com
