Estonia v Cyprus – Home Win
(World Cup Qualifier, 17:00 Kick Off)
Estonia grabbed a good point away to Greece in their last match and their home form in general makes me think that they’re a big price here. They beat Croatia at home and weren’t disgraced against Belgium in a match they were expected to lose heavily. When it comes to Cyprus’s away form, they had to wait until three minutes from time to beat lowly Gibraltar and I think that they might just struggle here.
Portsmouth v Rotherham – Home Win
(English League One, 14:30 Kick Off)
Rotherham’s opening two games away from home were both losses and I can see the misery continuing here for their fans. Portsmouth have made a decent enough start to the season and have picked up some good points. They’ve picked up four points from six at Fratton Park so far in the league. I am surprised that Portsmouth are priced at above evens here given their home advantage.
Greece v Belgium – Away Win
(World Cup Qualifier, 19:45 Kick Off)
Belgium have drawn one and won six of their seven World Cup qualifiers so far and look nailed on to qualify for next year’s tournament in Russia. Belgium have conceded just twice in those games and found the net 33 times, which is a very impressive set of statistics. I was surprised that they’re available at such long odds, given the strength of their squad and their recent form. Greece are also without a win in five in all competitions.
